In the early 1990's,
BedroomfurnitureUSA.com became the brainchild of John Rose.
After
spending 25 years in the furniture industry, he felt there was a void on the
World Wide Web for a top notch website that specialized in bedroom furniture.
With John's experience in the furniture industry as a retail sales person
with major furniture chains he moved to the wholesale end of the business with
the former giant Kroehler Manufacturing. He later was a sales
representative for Broyhill, Bassett, and various manufacturers in the bedroom,
dining room and upholstery sectors of the industry.
During this time he
was able to accumulate many contacts in the industry at many levels. He was also
able to tap into the many lines of quality furniture companies that could not be
found under one roof of any furniture store in the world. In 2001, he saw
an opportunity with Modus Furniture International, a line he had represented for
nine years, to launch a website that offered the Modus line for sale to the
general public as well as decorators and designers. At the time, Modus did not
have a sales force in many states in the mid-west and eastern part of the USA.
Eventually, website was able to offer this fine line of bedroom furniture
throughout the United States. As the website evolved, more lines were
added to offer a greater assortment of styles in any and all genres
imaginable.
